One way to get involved is through the Home Instead Charities® annual Give65 fundraising event, July 13-16. We’re partnering with more than 160 charitable organizations throughout the U.S. and Canada serving over one million aging adults in need to raise funds and awareness for their vital services and programs. Since its launch in 2016, Give65 has raised more than $3.8 million.

Older adults throughout North America rely on charitable organizations for meals, transportation, social activities, housing services and so much more. While the aging population is growing rapidly, funding for charitable organizations serving aging adults is not keeping pace. In the U.S., less than one percent of funding from the nation’s largest grant makers is focused on the aging population.

During our 65-hour online giving event – named for the number of aging adults turning 65 every day (10,000 in the U.S.) we’re rallying people to give $10 or more to help more older adults age with the dignity and independence they deserve.

More than 65 Home Instead franchise offices are also teaming up with these charitable organizations to give back to less fortunate older adults in their local communities.

Give65 is providing up to $160,000 in matching grants, as well as $88,000 in financial rewards to inspire people to give and give on a greater level. Donors can search for an organization in their local community, or filter based on a cause that’s close to your heart. Donations of $10 or more are accepted and appreciated.
