Canadian Franchise Association Recognizes Home Instead with Award for Excellence
Home Instead was chosen by the Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) as the Gold winner for 2021 in the category of Non-Traditional 30+ Franchises. Considered the pinnacle of franchise achievement in Canada, the CFA Awards of Excellence in Franchising are given annually to franchise systems that have demonstrated superior franchise relations, leadership, training, and communications. Due to health and safety concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s award winners were once again announced virtually.
“On behalf of our franchise network, we are once again proud to be recognized by the Canadian Franchise Association for our commitment to franchising in Canada,” says Jeff Huber, CEO of Home Instead, Inc. “As we continue to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, our franchise owners and their teams continue to show exemplary passion and devotion to serving Canada’s seniors across our 49 Canadian offices.”
In addition to the Award of Excellence, Home Instead was one of three finalists for this year’s Grand Champion prize, and earned the CFA Franchisees’ Choice designation for the 11th consecutive year. The Franchisees’ Choice designees are CFA member franchise brands who voluntarily took part in an independently administered survey. Franchisees were asked to assess their franchisor in key areas of the franchise business model, including the franchisee selection process, information package, leadership, business planning and marketing, training and support, as well as ongoing operations and the relationship between franchisor and franchisee.
